Class routine for every Practical
  • Store bags in bins

  • Wash and dry hands thoroughly

  • Put apron on
    • Wipe down tables and benches  with disinfectant and paper towels
    • Tie hair back or put a cap on.

    TURBO TOASTIES
    I chose the following Ingredients
    Why
    Pineapple
    Pineapple adds a sweet taste to the toastie
    Tomatoes
    Red for the appearance a nice bright colour
    Cheese
    Cheese and pineapple are a great combination.
    Shredded Chicken
    Chicken will suit my other ingredients more than other meats.
    Garlic
    Garlic adds flavour to my toastie
    Apricot and mango sauce
    Apricot and mango sauce suits chicken really well

    Instructions

    Preheat oven on grill
    10-15 minutes
    10 minutes
    Choose fillings and bread   
    less than 5minutes
    5 minutes
    Toast bread lightly on each side
    5  minutes
    5 minutes
    Remove tray from oven and assemble your toastie      
    10 minutes

    Cook under grill  
    10-15 minutes

    Photograph your product  and add to your blog
    5-10 minutes

    Eat and Evaluate
    15-20 minutes

    Clean up  
    10-15 minutes

    Clean up routine               Fill out who does what.
    Wash dishes
    and sweep your area
    Dry dishes
    Put dishes away
    Wipe down surfaces- Table, oven and outside of cupboards
    Wipe out cupboards

    All:  Wipe down aprons with disinfectant
    Every week there will also be 2 sweepers, 1 person to take the washing to the other room and put it on to wash and one person to clean up the demonstration area.

    EVALUATION- was my toastie successful and why?
    What could I have improved?

    My toastie was successful because it had the color variation I wanted and I could taste the variation of flavors.






    To improve I could have grilled the bun more to add crisper.
